Yesterday, I received a magazine through the mail that I'm not interested in. American Family Publishers sent me a letter previously saying that I'm "not obligated" to purchase it and offered me "a free opportunity" to view the magazine for a certain number of days. They said that if I'm not interested, that I could simply return the magazine and that would be all. No bill or nothing. Now that I'm not interested in this magazine, how should I return it. Conveniently, their is no return address on this type of magazine. Should I just write "return to sender" on the stick-on mailing address and assume that the post office will take care of it or should I tape on a card (usually included within the magazine with the magazine office's address on it) and write "return to sender". Along the terms of the offer, I want to return this magazine and cancel before they assume that I want to "accept a membership". If anybody knows what I should do, please send me a response...especially if you've been in the same situation before. On a similar, yet different question: If a company sends you a subscription for a magazine/order/whatever and you didn't sign anything, are you obligated to pay them? I'm just curious. Will
