I have found that this type of installation is a natural for a pull-pull cable type control hook-up. I have been using Sullivans Kevlar pull-pull system for about two years in a quarter scale Laser with NO problems. DuBro also makes a two sided control horn for pull-pull applications. You could probably also get away with one of the many ball-link type connectors if it's a small plane. In many cases, simply aligning the control horn with the pushrod will work just fine, even though the pushrod moves up and down slightly as the rudder turns.
