Found two mail-order sources, Hobby Lobby (someone already
mentioned) and Sporty's Pilot Shop... Sportys is a tad cheaper,
especially if you consider the WATS line to call in the order there,
and each order to Sportys gets you entered for their annual
(man-carrying) airplane give-away.

Probably the decider is which companys catalog subscription
list you want most to get entered on.

Hobby Lobbys description (it appears to be the same item at
both places):

About 6" long. Hand-held device has two scales: 2 to 10 mph
and 4 to 66 mph.

Hobby Lobby item: WID001 Wind Meter
5614 Franklin Pike Circle $14.00 + $4.90 shipping
Brentwood, TN 37027
(615) 373-1444
(This is last years Hobby Lobby catalog I'm reading, I hope the
prices haven't changed...)

    or

Sporty's Pilot Shop item: 7763A Dwyer Wind Meter
Clermont County Airport $13.90 + 4.75 shipping
Batavia, OH 45103-9747
(800) 543-8633
