Ok I pointed my (tacho) at a filament lamp and it reads 3000 on 2 blade. I then went out to the kitchen and did something I've never done before, pointed it a a flourescent light, it read 30000, that means that the flourescant is flashing at 10 TIMES THE RATE OF AN INCANDESCANT BULB. I KNEW there was some magic going on in there...-- Only joking it read 3000. I guess that makes it an honorable draw....:-) cheers bob Harrier Softnet Ltd tel +44-734-731181 I'd rather be playing Ivanhoe Rd fax +44-734-734546 with my chopper Finchampstead email bob@harrier.demon.co.uk O / __________ Berkshire -|-<> /\======O RG11 4QQ _/ \_ __\/__
