FOR SALE: RADIO-CONTROLLED COLLECTIBLE RACE CARS The Gilmer Midget is a quarter-scale, radio-controlled replica of the the open-wheel, midget race cars driven by famous drivers such as A.J. Foyt and Mario Andretti in the 1960's and early 1970's. This exquisite, hand-built race car comes fully assembled in your choice of four colors with the servos, radio battery and switch already installed. The midget's chassis is machined aluminum, its body gel-molded fiberglass and powerplant a 1.2 cubic inch, Kawasaki two-cycle engine with a top speed near 50 m.p.h. For those who follow racing, that means turning a scale, quarter-mile in less than 7 seconds! Approximately 100 of these fine race cars have been sold throughout the world to radio-controlled hobbyists, antique/classic collectors and personal museums. The Gilmer Midget has been featured and advertised in national magazines such as Radio Control Modeler, Radio Controlled Car Action and several other publications which market collectible items. In fact, celebrities such as Willie G. Davidson of "HARLEY DAVIDSON" have added the Gilmer Midget to their private museum collections. As the designer and manufacturer, we have decided to discontinue the production of the Gilmer Midget race car. At this time, we only have 10 assembled cars left in our inventory. This is your only chance to obtain a "one-of-a-kind", model race car destined to be a collector's item. This car is a flawless masterpiece which is not designed, manufactured or marketed by any other company in the entire world. The Gilmer Midget comes in two models priced at $2500 and $3000 for immediate sale to radio-controlled hobbyists and collectors. These won't last long, so we ask for "serious" inquiries only on these final production models. For literature and information on the Gilmer Quarter-Scale Midget Race Car, send $2.00(check or cash) to the following address: Gilmer Hobby and Machine Inc. Box 400 Howard Lake, Minnesota U.S.A. 55349 You can also call Gilmer Hobby and Machine at (612) 543-2395 to inquire about the Gilmer Quarter-Scale Midget or send mail on the internet to pgilmer@tellabs.com with specific questions.
