F117 Nav lights

Going thru all the materials I have on the F117, I am unclear if the Nav
lights are removed for combat. The red/green are only located on the top
side and look intergrated into the wing. The rotating reds are located
one on top and one on bottom, and these are removable. Considering that
the bird makes in-flight refueling during most missions I am guessing that
the top rotating is left on, only the lower light removed.

Any ideas?????
