Hi!
I was just wondering...would it be okay to use an overcoat of acrylic clear
varnish (Tamiya) over a coloured (gold) enamel (Humbrol) and then put a coat
of Lacquer varnish (also Humbrol) over the acrylic? I intend that the acrylic
varnish act as a barrier to prevent the lacquer from attacking the airbrushed
paint underneath.
Would this work? I don't have much experience with lacquers and wonder
what is the best method of using them.
Also, are lacquer paints/varnishes suitable for objects which will be
handled a lot? I say this with the model in mind (a badge).
Thanks for any help...
