Two suggestions:

1) Pour a bunch of B-B's (available at most any sporting goods store
or gun shop) into the nose and then drop a glob of epoxy glue on it
   to hold it in place.

2) Press a piece of heavy kitchen-type aluminum foil into the inside
of the nose to get the shape. Carefully remove the foil and place it
in some sort of heat-resistant support (modelling clay works OK but
it melts a little; I'm about to try sand.) Now fire up your trusty
soldering iron and start dripping molten solder into the aluminum
'mold'. When you have filled it up, let it cool (!) and ... voila!
A custom molded solid metal weight for your model. Just superglue
   it into place.

				Enjoy,
				Richard.
