Hi Folks,
have gone for a helicopter theme with the update this month - the
featured aircraft include : Bell 47 'Sioux' (19 images), Bell OH-58A (4
images), Bell UH-1H (9 images), Kaman SH-2F (6 images), BK-117 (24
images), and Westland Scout (11 images). That's 73 images in total.
For those of you who haven't seen this site, it currently displays over
4500 original images covering more that 190 different aircraft types and
aviation activities relating to New Zealand. This includes many warbirds,
and a number of vintage aircraft. For the modeller and enthusiast I have
included a number of 'detail' photos (subjects include Spitfire, Mustang,
Sea Fury, Vampire and Harvard, and more ...). Interior photographic tours
now include Lancaster NX665, Catalina ZK-PBY, An-12 LZ-SFL, AW650 Argosy
ZK-SAE and a C-130H. The site also includes the most comprehensive
listing of New Zealand aviation related websites - over 500 links.
Next update: more catching up on the 2001 airshow reports - Ardmore,
Kaipara, Taupo, and maybe a few more. I also have a couple of
interesting new walkarounds in the works - like the world's only airworthy
La-9.
Phil.
