Hi Folks,
the promised ag-aircraft update is going to have to go on hold
for a while, as I still have a bunch of details coming together from my
research - so instead we have a walkaround of the Eastern Motors FM-2
Wildcat (the ultimate version of the Grumman F4F) instead - 76 images.
Happy browsing!
For those of you who haven't seen this site, it currently displays over
4000 original images covering more that 190 different aircraft types and
aviation activities relating to New Zealand. This includes many warbirds,
and a number of vintage aircraft. For the modeller and enthusiast I have
included a number of 'detail' photos (subjects include Spitfire, Mustang,
Sea Fury, Vampire and Harvard, and more ...). Interior photographic tours
now include Lancaster NX665, Catalina ZK-PBY, An-12 LZ-SFL, AW650 Argosy
ZK-SAE and a C-130H. The site also includes the most comprehensive
listing of New Zealand aviation related websites - over 500 links.
Next update: time to start catching up on the 2001 airshow reports -
Masterton, Ardmore, Kaipara, and maybe a few more.
Phil.

For anyone who hasn't seen this site, my sympathy. This site is one of the little known hidden gems of the internet for aircraft modellers. Thanks Guys - this is all going to my head!
Of course you might try explaining this to my wife - she who goes "why do
you need another picture of that plane - you've already got one!" and "you
don't need to waste time on your site - come and play with your kids".
I'm not compulsive - I just have to do it...
... anyway, thanks for the very positive feedback!
Phil.
