Hi,

Anyone remember this?

The time: 1965
The place: England(/Australia?)
The band: The Seekers
The song: The Carnival is Over
The writer: Tom Springfield

The question: Where can I get the words ???

I am particularly trying to establish the "?????????" in the line...

             "????????? and Columbine"

    Thanks in advance!, Emmy Russ

         for replying.

Here are the results:	"For Pierrot" 5 votes
			"Poppy, rose" 1 vote
			(Abstain) 1 vote

Interestingly enough, these opinions are in about the same ratio
as I had established locally (i.e. speaking to friends/relatives).
The subject came up on a local radio phone-in recently and again
several people thought is was "Poppy, rose" (or is that "Poppy rows"?)
and I must say that listening to the vintage vinyl it *does not* sound
like "Pierrot" at all even though I'm sure that that's what it must be!

       Ho-hum, Emmy.
