	Apologies if my original post implied anything negative about
Todd Williams.  As mentioned in that post, he is a fine runner, now
the best at 10k in the U.S.  This is a considerable accomplishment.
My point was more a question about American distance runners in 
general: Why do young Americans go to the Olympics hoping to get
international experience that will pay off in the years ahead, while
young Kenyans go to the Olympics expecting to whip the field?  

	Once again, sorry; the point would have been better made
without mentioning anyone's name.
