I am having problems getting this card to work in my CPU. I have a P2 350
with 64MB of ram. When I install this card, my computer thinks it is an
extra monitor. I have tried to disable my on board video adapter(STB
Velocity 128), however evey time I reboot, it starts using it again. I have
tried to make the card the primary monitor, but that isn't an option. The
card works fine...I can plug my monitor in to it and it works, but I don't
have icons or a start menu.

So I guess my main question here is, how do I make my computer use the video
card as the primary video adapter? I would like it to just forget about the
on board one. Thanks in advance for any help.

Why did you replace a nvidia Riva 128 chip with an S3 Virge? The Riva
128 is a much faster chip.

Call tech support if this is a major brand computer.
