        I have an old ( ancient ) Advent model 1000/1000A Videobeam
projector that I would like to get rid of.  It is a 2-piece front
projection unit with a curved, aluminized screen.  The screen can stand
freely on two legs, and also has a set of brackets for wall mounting.  The
screen is 84 inches diagonal, and the distance between the screen and
projector is fixed.  This was one of the first available consumer video
projectors.

        Technically, the unit works, but is basically a piece of crap, to
be honest.  The picture is dim and not very sharp, and the screen has
some annoying defects.  I would only recommend this unit to someone who
is capable of maintaining it, or already has one and wants a lot of spare
parts.  Three chassis worth of spare parts and a service manual are
included.  

        I would like $300.00 for all of this, but will entertain
any offer.  You pick up in Palo Alto.
