Hi,

I'd like to know if other folks have heard anything about the
Panasonic 27SF35 tv recently. Specifically, has Panasonic been
having trouble keeping up with demand on this unit?

I ordered one on Jan. 1st from a store (the Good Guys) in SF.
Although the unit was initially promised to be available on 1/11,
I have still not received it. Whenever I have talked to the store,
they inform me that Panasonic was surprised by the demand, and have
been unable to deliver.

So, I'd like to hear what other peoples' experieces have been.
Is this set back ordered everywhere?

Secondly, how as the build quality been, especially on recent units?
Has Panasonic been sloppy as it deals with the increased demand?

Lastly, if the tv is available else where, then has the Good Guys store
been giving me (and others) a run around?

Thanks,

-j

To check availability try some of the on-line sites like
www.crutchfield.com or do a query on Yahoo. There are a whole bunch of
stores that sell TVs on-line. However it depends on how comfortable you
are with it.

Best of luck

A couple of hours after I posted this message, I received a call from the
Good Guys. My TV had arrived. The assembly date on the back of the set
indicated January, 1999. So, the set was built after I ordered it.
