Need Help on some possible RAM problem...

Hello
I often encounter an "application error" saying "can not read memory
at address xxxx" when running a program in win95. My friends have no
trouble at all running the same program in win95. I think there might
be something wrong with the RAM chip.

Can anyone help me get a memory testing program?

Since POST doesn't test memory thoroughly, I need a program that can
test my RAM chip to make sure they are 100% working.

thanks in advance.

Try This:

Run a program that gives you this problem. Shut down your computer
and swap a pair of SIMM positions (within the bank). Run the same
application, see if the bad memory location changes. With a little
logic, you should be able to find the faulty one. Hope this helps.

You can also try the MSD.EXE with dos it will test the memory addresses, or
In my opinion get a program call WINPROBE 95, it checks out more than just
memory

Could also be a conflict between your video card and your programs.
Check your bios set up to see if the conflict area can be reserved.
