Unfortunately there is a very low volume of mail in this group. I
think that many people are unaware of the importance of a good working
user interface and therefore don't bother to look for information
about it. I am currently working on a Space Planning Interface on a
GIS. My experience is that when looking for information on user
interfaces etc. the fields related to cognitive science are much more
useful than the GIS related fields. (people dealing with GIS seem much
more to be involved in gathering and analysing data, NOT how to
communicate the results to another (end) user..:-)
