WORDS AND MUSIC, two spoken word events, take/s place this weekend in
Melbourne.
The first is at the Lounge, 243 Swanston St Melbourne, on Sunday 3rd
August at 7pm, and features Richard Watts, Dean Kiley, Kerry Watson,
Amelia Johns, Ed Berger and Adam Carey, and the
second is on the 4th (Monday) at the Empress of India, cnr Scotchmer and
Noicholson St Nth Fitzroy, also at 7pm. Lineup for the Empress is yet to
be finalised, but includes Richard Watts, Ed Berger and Hoa Pham. If
you're going "Who??!" then perhaps you should come along.
Both gigs cost $6 or $4 concession.

But there is always work for those who want it. Only it is as well not to
go to the man who says so; for he never has any work to offer and can
never point to the man who has. He makes this assertion merely to prove
what a lot he knows of the world. - "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre"
