Hi!

I'm writing to inform you about a new Australian page. Unemployment
Resources Online is more than just a
jobhunting site, although it does contain links to a comprehensive list of
Australian classified and employer sites. URO exists to advocate for and
defend the rights of unemployed people and workers, and to provide a
one-stop list of contacts for all aspects of employment related issues.

Sections of URO include Advocacy, a page devoted to resources for workers
and the unemployed such as Job Watch, HREOC and so on, Job Hunting, THE
list of job hunting resources in Australia and around the world, and
Articles, keeping you up to date on developments affecting the unemployed
as well as listing publications that specifically deal with these issues.

This site is in its infancy, and will definitely improve over the next few
weeks. If you're looking for a job, thinking about changing jobs, worried
because you can't get a job or are at risk of losing your job, you should
have a look at this page.

But there is always work for those who want it. Only it is as well not to
go to the man who says so; for he never has any work to offer and can
never point to the man who has. He makes this assertion merely to prove
what a lot he knows of the world. - "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre"
