From Monday 2 to Friday 6 December 1996, RMIT is celebrating its 
R&D excellence with a program of events and lectures entitled:

The Microelectronics and Materials Technology Centre will be open 
to visitors.

Description:

The Microelectronics and Materials Technology Centre (MMTC) 
supports a range of major multi-disciplinary research programs and 
industry related projects in the broad areas of microelectronics and 
advanced materials.  

Research areas which utilise the facilities and technical support of the 
MMTC include integrated optics and optoelectronic materials and 
devices, advanced solid-state sensor technology, microwave hybrid 
circuit fabrication, micromachine technology and advanced surface 
processing engineering.
