No one thought it would ever come. But it did. The World's End A bulletin board system running the WWIV v4.12 software. Come and join a totally whacky bunch of people as they try and explore the limits of sanity. And while that's happening, you can also be a part of some interesting file transfers. The World's End can be reached by dialing (518) 276-3020 at any speed from 300 bps to 9600 bps. Use no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit. Hit the return key a couple times to wake the system up. For callers from the RPI campus: Get to an IBX prompt. Enter 'D' at the "ENTER (D)ESTINATION..." prompt. Enter '3020' at the DESTINATION> prompt. If it says, "DATA CALL INITIATED", you're connected. Smash your return key a few times to get the logon message. The World's End is up 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is run by Spell Binder. For more info, logon and send feedback to the sysop (F from the main menu). Or, e-mail me at fargo@iear.arts.rpi.edu Thanks. -- Thank you and happy hunting! Actually: Ethan M.
