In case anyone missed the article in the Record, the 112th Street bridge between Lansingburgh (North Troy) and Cohoes is permanently closed so they can tear it down and build a new one. Also, First Avenue in Troy may be made one-way during the construction. My guess is Route 4 is the best alternate. The DOT says to use the Collar City Bridge (Hoosick Street) as an alternate to 116th Street because you will get caught in traffic in Waterford if you try to use the 126th Street bridge. This also means that if you normally use the 126th Street bridge or live in Waterford, you should expect heavy traffic (because not everyone follows DOT advice).
