Has anybody ever committed suicide by diving into the
so-called "glory hole" spillway at Lake Berryessa, or
been sucked into it accidentally?

I've heard that a young woman killed herself this way, but
the story appears to be an urban legend. An extensive
Google search failed to come up with anything specific.
All I could find was the following poem:

(If I had a band, I'd name it "Glory Hole Suicide.")
