I have experienced some very serious weather around the country, and it never ceases to amaze me that the last thing folks worry about is power. That it stays on is a given. When you hit Pushing Graft & Extortion with that info, they whine about how some particular rain or wind is "unusual" and the other utilities build for it in other parts of the country because they have to. A friend of mine owns a TV station in Anchorage. He has no backup power at the mountaintop transmitter site. Doesn't need it. We're talking Alaska, folks. Here in generally-pleasant San Jose, most downtown office buildings have backup power. It is a necessity. -- John Higdon | Email Address Valid | http://www.anntec.com/ +1 408 264 4115 | Silicon Valley, CA | FAX: +1 408 264 4407 Cheap, provincial San Franciscans can call: 415 428-COWS
