Since I'm also looking for a Korean "Appetizer" of sorts, I'd
love to know of a place I could get a Mung-Bean Pancake (These
must be made fresh - so I'm looking for restaurants, I guess)

(Speaking of which, I have 4 quart-size crocks of kim-chee
of kimche that have been sitting for about a week now. Anybody
care for a whif? I'll put them in the fridge now...)

As for Ho-tuck, from your description I could only offer
a Greek Baklava which is commonly available. The pastry would be
different; crispy rather than soft. Lots of butter and carbs,
though.
