I live in SJ (Willow Glen near the Guadalupe River) and work in
Milpitas.  In my car, I can get (with noise sometimes) KQED, KUSP (Los
Gatos translater 90.3) and KALW.  They are listenable, especially when
it's mostly talk.  KUSP is the weakest, of course.

In my 2-story house, I have a TV antenna in the attic.  I switch it
between the TV and the FM tuner.  I can't get KALW that way, but I do
get the other two.
