	This year's Dixon Lamb Festival will be held one day only on 
August 5, 1995.  That's this Saturday, lovers of the lamb chop!  It will 
be held in glorious downtown Dixon.  There is no charge this year.  

	I called the Chamber of Commerce in Dixon to get this vital 
information.  Previous Lamb Festivals were held at the Dixon 
Fairgrounds.  However, the community, per the Chamber, wants to make the 
fair less commercial and get back to its roots.

	I was there last year; the roots were still showing.  I thought 
it was one of the least commercial anythings I'd seen in ages.  So, if 
it's going to be less commercial, it should be extra fun and charming 
this year.  You will find me at the all-you-can snarf lamb ribs bbq 
area.  Yumm, yumm.
