I have a fairly new Celeron 466mhz processor for sale with a large
heatsink and fan for sale. It also comes with an MSI rev1.1 PPGA to
slot 1 converter card. This card is awesome because it has a jumper for
overclocking, running the celeron dual and jumpers for voltage in
increments of .05 volts. Very good card for people with a slot 1
motherboard and who want to overclock. Runs great at 586mhz. Could
probably get higher with a ABIT board with more FSB settings, but mine
only has 83mhz and the next one up is 100mhz. Definately will not POST
at 700mhz! I am asking $120 obo for the entire assembly. Have online
manuals for the MSI jumper settings if needed. Let me know what you
think.

You can get the 466 through Pricewatch for $86. I realize that it may not do
83MHz FSB. But I am interested in the MSI Slotket if you're willing to part
with it for $11 if you find someone that is willing to pick up your processor
only. Hopefully we can arrange something. I am in the Sacramento area.

Be careful with these mail order outfits. Most will charge *at least* $12
for "shipping and handling" and I'd be very surprised if the $86 chips
aren't
the ones that they tested and could not overclock.

Except the one from the pricewatch is brand new, and NEVER has been
overclocked! But the one here has already been well overclocked beyond
the original spec. If a 10 ton's truck that has been carrying
15 ton's goods for a while, but the owner says it is still in good
working condition. Do you want to buy this truck? To be fair, I think
most of the people would say: "Yes, I'll buy it, if the price is
right!". My question is: Is this the right price?
(As a fact, I don't know. Just asking...)
