Hello, We are students of a Teacher Training College in Holland and we would like to have some comment about 9 statements about 'childlabour' which you will find beneath the line. Please respond, we appreciate every comment. Thanks. -------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. We, as Dutch people, can't do anything about childlabour. 2. Without childlabour our consumer-society won't exist. 3. Childlabour is necessary for the child and its family to survive. 4. Abandon childlabour is not the right solution. 5. Products made by children should be attached with a special tag. 6. Goverments should make a policy in which childlabour can be terminated immediately.(for ex. by the UN) 7. Can the 'honest'market garantee that childlabour won't happen? 8. An international boycot of these products is a solution. 9. When the labour circumstances will aprove, then childlabour is acceptable. Thank you for your cooperation. Marco van der Velden.

Abandon childlabour is not the right solution. Dat hangt ervan af waarvoor. Het is misschien niet de oplossing voor de slechte economische omstandigheden. > 5. Products made by children should be attached with a special tag. Voor pedo's? > 6. Wat is dat dan, een 'honest' market (met aanhalingstekens)? Of is de vraag stellen, hem beantwoorden? > 8. An international boycot of these products is a solution. Wel als het gepaard gaat met maatregelen om te voorkomen dat gezinnen daar het slachtoffer van worden. > 9. When the labour circumstances will aprove, then childlabour is > acceptable. Nee. > > Thank you for your cooperation. > Marco van der Velden. Graag gedaan. Remco de Korte
