I am new to this group and was wondering if anyone could provide me with
any hints or suggestions, regarding buying second hand planes (of the type
Cessna etc.). The information that I am looking for, is, who sells these
and in what price range.

If a FAQ exists, please let me know the source.

Regards.

Perhaps the best way to start looking for used general aviation
aircraft is to go to your local small airport and pick up a copy
of "Trade-A-Plane." This magazine will give you some dealers'
phone numbers, and some idea of what's out there in your price
range. While you're there, you might want to talk to a flight
school for advice. Also, look for aircraft buyer/seller bbs's
advertised in "Flying" and other magazines, where you can call
in with your computer and shop around.

Good luck!
