I am a senior at the Florida Institute of Technology and am studying Aerospace Engineering. For a senior design project, we have decided to build a radio controlled model of a canard style airplane. Could anyone tell me of reference books (Nasa papers, text books, etc.) that would be direclty aplicable to canard airplanes, particulary in the areas of stability and aerodynamics. A main wing will be mounted in the aft section of the model, with rudders mounted on the wing tips for directional control. The forward canard will serve as a lifting surface as well as for pitch control. Thank you in advance for any sources of information you can provide. Tony Witkowski e-mail: rme59719@zach.fit.edu
