I just set a newly bought 75 gallon tank. Everything look OK, no leak, etc.
I moved several fish to the new tank already when I saw that the wooden stand
is a bit warped at one corner. There is a 2/10 inch of gap between the bottom
of the tank and the stand at that corner. The dimension of the tank is asi
follow:
	48 inch long
	18 inch deep
	21 inch high

The warp starts about 13 inches from the corner on the front side, and about
15 inches on the side. So far, there seems to be no leak, yet (After about 4
hours of fully filled tank).

Will this be a problem? Do I need to to anything about it? Or can I just
leave the set-up as is? Please respond quickly, if there is going to be
problem with my tank. Thanks a bunch, everybody.

You didn't mention if the tank were plastic or glass.
However, that doesn't make much difference, you must have
a flat surface to place any tank. If it is glass, most likely
a seal will break over time, if plastic, the tank may warp over time.

All tanks I purchased have the guarantee voided if the tank isn't
on a flat surface. On the glass tanks, you shouldn't be able to push
an index card under any part of the bottom.

I'll second the notion that the tank MUST be set up on a flat surface. Not only
may a seal fail down the road but one of the glass panes may crack (typically
the bottom one) and then you'll be up a creek. As a matter of fact someone at
work recently had the bottom pane of their tank crack. My first question was
whether the tank was set up on a flat surface. The answer was no. I always
place a layer of styrofoam between the tank and whatever it's sitting on just
to make sure. The styrofoam will allow the tank to self level itself to a
degree. It's cheap insurance to avoid getting 50 gallons of salt water in the
living room carpet.
