Hello.. I've got a tropical tank, and a couple weeks ago I noticed my angelfish had a white growth near its mouth. It was pretty small and I assumed it was ick or some fungus, and I added a bit of anti-fungal medicine to the water. Over the next several weeks this began to grow. I continued to add the medicine somewhat regularly, although not in great amounts since I was worried about hurting the other fish or plants. But as of the past few days, this white growth has grown and if you look at the fish, it looks like it's not on the exterior -- it's on the interior, and it's kind of deep. Tonight the angelfish doesn't seem his/her normal self, and it looks like there might be small spots of white on other parts of the body. The eyes are bulging a little as well. I know this could probably be anything, but is there anything I can do? I'm still using that anti-fungal medicine, but it doesn't seem to be having an effect. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Please mail them, as I'm not a regular reader of this newsgroup. Thanks in advance, M. Scott Smith (mssmith@afterlife.ncsc.mil)
