the coorong  Heavy Mineral Sand HMS , many  years ago

White people call it chinamans well but it was named before chinamen
were in the area , and it was used by early settlers

Its very old  , but no chinaman built it IMHO , Its design may
indicate who did

Do you recall seeing any like it in your travels ? or can you ask your
friends if they can find an exact match else where

Its clearly built by somebody who knew exactly what they were doing ,
so Im going to try and find more like it , and I suspect it may be
built by the " sea peoples " in ancient times as its clear somebody
was mining the Heavy Mineral Sands on this coast  on a VAST scale ,
effectively what you see today as the Coorong and lower Lakes are man
made , mines working the sands washed down the 2500 km River Murray
over many millions of years

SOMEBODY worked out most of the easy deposits within walking distance
to water , long before Europeans arrived in 1836
