I am looking for a program that makes a GIF file from a FITS image for a Sun workstation. Has anybody heard of such a program? Please post or send mail to gei@cfa.harvard.edu Thanks

After snapping and saving the image, run xv and load the raster file. Save the xv-loaded image as a GIF file (or whatever format you want). -- Dave Mehringer | "...
