There currently exists many databases with many forms of information, commercial and otherwise. Most of these databases are in the form of some RDBMS such as Oracle, Informix etc. The tables in these databases are designed for a specific purpose and are usually moderately static. Contemplate a software product that 'joined' information from many databases and used (perhaps) AI techniques to 'look for' correspondences. Maybe we would find that driving a Ford caused canced (for example - no suggestions of accuracy here !), or some other unexpected or unanticipated correspondence. Maybe the price of AT&T shares goes up when the moon is full, maybe there are connections between certain things that we cannot anticipate because we (as humans) do not think that way. I don't know of this is the sort of thing that you wanted.... but it is an interesting and potentially very useful idea.... Count. ...
