Only one problem:
People flying or sailing from Cape Horn to the Cape of Good Hope have
measured the distance between these two points time and time again. They
would have to be MUCH farther apart than the distances measured if they
were near the outside edge of a flat circular plate -- AND the shortest
distance between them, in the case of the flat circular Earth, would be a
line passing through the Tropical Latitudes!

However, I'm perfectly willing to agree that Mars is flat. I hereby open
membership in the Flat Mars Society. The only times we've seen it through
a telescope it's been a fully-lit DISK, hasn't it? Ever seen it as a
crescent, hmmm, have you? Have you ever seen the Dark Side of Mars? Do
you really think those Mariner and Viking probes actually WENT there, and
weren't just sending back pictures of rocks from some NASA guy's sandlot
through a red filter? I say we take our stand NOW!!!
