I'm planning a short camping trip to the vicinity of Mono Lake.  It's
a good excuse to camp out, and the clear air and altitude should make
the viewing great.  Incidentally, the best Perseids I saw were five
years ago in Zion Canyon on my drive cross-country -- can't beat the
clean air.
