I have bought a set of Meade eyepieces for my
10" Newtonian scope. Thanks to the special buy one get one free
offers that Meade was recently offering, I will be receiving
two 13.8mm Super-Wide Angle (SWA) eyepieces (I am getting the
8.8mm UWA which comes with one free 13.8mm SWA, and a 32mm SWA
which comes with another 13.8mm SWA). I would like to sell one
of the 13.8mm SWA's. The specs are 1.25" barrel, 67 degree field,
pretty good eye relief (see the ads in Astronomy or S&T for
more details). They cost $160 from Meade by themselves,
and the dealer I'm ordering it through offered me $100 for it
(since he can sell it at full price, given that it would be
unopened and he's a dealer - "Oh, I just happen to have one
right here in stock...."). Anyway, I'd rather sell it myself.
I'm asking $140 for it (obo). I live in San Diego, and the dealer
I'm ordering through is in Oceanside. I'd rather sell it to
someone local who can pick it up from the dealer with me (saves
shipping, and that way we can check it right there to make sure
it's not defective or damaged). I'm also asking around at the
San Diego Astronomy club to see if anyone there is interested.

Best offer or first offer over $140 takes it.
