Pyracantha thorns are about as painful as mesquite thorns, and there are a heck of a lot more of them per cubic inch of tree on a pyracantha than on a mesquite. Its a well-armed plant, to say the least. Pretty to look at, but horrible to get tangled up in. -- Stephen Lacker Applied Research Laboratories, The University of Texas at Austin PO Box 8029, Austin TX 78713-8029 512-835-3286 slacker@arlut.utexxas.edu (Remove the extra 'x' to mail me)
