I have been collecting botanical sites one day at a time, looking at them and
selecting the best and writing comments on them and putting them on my Web
site for more than a month now. I am a botany professor and I am also looking
for high quality educational sites and resources with the goal of being able
to use these in a class situation. I look at educational quality,
scientific content, presentation and completeness. I have rated the sites
with stars (4 is best). For each site I use, I usually look at 10 or more
possibilities, so the ratings may look higher than they are.

I have called this my "Botanical Link of the Day" and it is updated daily on
weekdays. I hope that this may be useful for you and others who are looking
for good botanical sites and I am therefore including this on the newsgroup.
The URL is:

     http://www.ou.edu/cas/botany-micro/bot-linx/

This is part of the OU Botany & Microbiology Web site that I take care of. I
decided to do this one link a day for anyone who follows this and so I won't
be inundated with Web searching. Also, if anyone has any nominations
(including self-nominations), please let me know. - SR
