Field experiment techniques conference.

Organised by the Association of Applied Biologists (AAB).

To be held at Churchill, Cambridge, UK on 11-13 December 1995.

The methodology, techniques, operating procedures and equipment used in
field experiments are crucial to the process of research. There are few
occasions when experimenters and those responsible for experiments have
the opportunity to discuss the various aspects of this subject. The
conference will focus on recent and future advances in this area. Some of
the sessions will reflect the practical nature of the subject and will
offer opportunity for open discussion amongst participants.

Many of the sessions will be interlinked. The main subject areas are:-

Legislation and field experimentation in the future.
Experimental design.
Statistical analysis.
Automation of field experiments.
Changing priorities: challenges for the experimenter.
Assessment techniques.
Data handling.
Exhibition of various equipment and services that are of interest to
field experimenters.
