This specialty is one of those most in demand amongst the various options for employment in statistics. There will always be a good market in biostatistics as long as there is significant funding for medical research. The work is exciting and rewarding and the pay is relatively good. There is also a high demand for the work of graduate students while they are in school due to the demand at most major medical schools. It is a great way to make a living for anyone interested in mathematics, computing or statistics and any variation of biology or medicine. There are many good MS programs in biostatistics and many of them can be contacted on the internet. If you want more personal or detailed info please feel free to email me. Good luck. David N.
