I'm working in a biotech company as a modeler and I'm also doing lots of 
stats. In the end of this month I'm going to a one-week-course of "Rational 
Tools in R & D" in Ume�, Sweden. It's a course of using newest statistical 
techniques in experimantal planning and analysis. The newest versions of 
Windows programs (Modde and Simca) developed by the local university will be 
used during the course. So, the course is more general than just bio stats, 
but those tecnhiques surely are important and can be applied in biological 
research.
