Here is the sumamry of replies I received when I posted a message asking
for information about grad schools in Genetics (especially disease),
Developmental and Molecular Biology.

Well, Lisa, it depends on how hard you want to work. For genetics, I'd
try Penn (Haig Kazazian just went there) or here. For developmental,
there are excellent programs at MIT. For molecular...there are a ton of
good places, but it depends on how crazy you wanna be when you graduate;
I'd suggest MIT, Stanford, UCSF, UC Berkeley, Rockefeller, then maybe
Harvard and Hopkins BCMB or Pharmacology programs (and maybe Penn, but
not their biochem). Wisconsin and DUke also have excellent programs, but
don't have the names the others do. I think those are the 10 I'd
recommend for molecular--unfortunately, molecular biology is not
restrictive enough for a definition nowadays, so you have to help me out
here, too (as in, what are you specifically interested in?).
