Hi, I would like some help finding information sources on the subject of the ecology of landfills. I am writing a paper on the Biogeography of Garbage for a class, and am having a difficult time finding articles and references for it. What I'd like to investigate in the paper is what kind of ecosystems are naturally formed in man-made waste dumps, and how the type of waste dump and its surrounding environmental and climactic conditions influences its biodiversity. I'd like to also catalog which phyla are represented in this domain, and which members of those phyla are most prevalent.
