Hi. I will be studying marine ecology in Cairns, Australia from February 
1 until the end of May. I am trying to find a position as a research 
assistant at one of the many marine research stations on the Great 
Barrier Reef. I'm a third-year undergraduate at Macalester College in 
St. Paul, Minnesota and have four summers of serious research 
experience. 

	Two questions:

					1.	Does anyone have suggestions as to who I might contact regarding 			
								this pursuit? (I've spoken with several researchers over the 		
								last month and though I've found a few possibilities, nothing 
								definite has come along).

					2.	Does anyone know who the director is or know any email addresses 
								for the following institutions:

													Heron Island Research Station (University of Queensland)
													Lizard Island Research Station
													Orphius Island Research Station
													Magnetic Island Research Station (James Cook University)

													(or any contacts at the Great Barrier Reef Marine National 
														Parks Authority?)
