I have some nice Mandelbrot sets on my web site, they are jpegs, and I
have included coordinates of the centre of the image, the maximum number
of iterations, and the view radius (ie enlargement). There are also some
animated gif movies, each of which shows a journey into the jungle around
the edges of the set.

Is that the same Douglas Adams who wrote "Hitchhiker's Guide To The
Universe?" If so, and your domain is galifrey, do you post in
alt.drwho.creative also?

That quote certainly sounds familiar - I'm pretty sure it came from one
of the four books in the Trilogy, but I can't remember which one.

So the Wog write:

        There are five now.

It's not mathematics, but you *did* ask. It's from "Life, the Universe
and Everything", I would guess, and refers to the warriors of Krikket.

Hope this is infomrative.

Actually, it came from the third book, thats what the krikkit did, they

because as far as theyre concerned it doesnt exist..
its in "Life the universe and everything" the third in the set of 5.

A few years ago I wrote a fractal program with my brother, but I didn't
bothered releasing it. I've finally got around to putting it on the net
and the URL to it is:
http://www.fit.qut.edu.au/Student/~n1296515/ftp/frac.zip

It requires an IBM-PC with SVGA and a mouse.
Basically you use the right-button for zooming, and you click on the
mandelbrot set with the left button to get Julia sets.

It hasn't really been heavily tested on different computers so it might
be still buggy... Please let me know of any major problems
