Oh, I've said loads of bad things about him in the past. He used to
get wired about it and so did I when he said things about me. Now it
appears we both have thicker skins. If Ilya and I had met in 1980 (and
if we were the same age) we'd probably have gotten along fairly well.

Hmm, I probably wasn't paying much attention to the topic. What
adapter? You don't seem to get it. I don't read much of the things you
write that aren't directed at me. Once you caught my attention I
skimmed a few of your posts to get a phrase or two that I could flame.
You don't actually think that I *read* your posts in entirety, do you?

If it weren't for the maintenance required I'd probably live with two
women.  But since it's too much of a hassle I prefer the type of
relationship I have: a wife who is very fun to be with on all levels.
