Will chemical reactions still occur near a black hole or will they be
soooo slow, that it will take ages until 2 atoms react???

From the point of view of the atoms or an outside observer?

Lloyd's question is a good one.

If you are travelling with the reactants, the reaction rate will
be normal for the temperature they are at.

If you are far from the event horizon, and the reactants are
orbiting the BH at the closest possible orbit for matter (6m),
you will see the reaction slowed by both the path speed required,
and by the position in the gravity well.

If you are far from the event horizon, and the reactants are
falling into the hole, the reactants will never appear to cross
the event horizon, will appear to slow down in reaction rate, but
will in fact already have crossed the event horizon.

Light can only bring you what you can measure and black holes
"describe" the limits of light.
